Four ways to transform your body

The other day I needed a bit of a stress relief. I felt overwhelmed, tired and found myself staring at other people’s vacation photos on Facebook. Disconnecting from social media and reconnecting with my iTunes, I found myself jumping around in my apartment. As I jumped with verve, I realized…certain things are jiggling that didn’t before. 

Is it the heavier foods from the cooler months that were packing on the pounds?
Is it a lack exercise?
Or is it just…age?

Luckily being in the business I’m in, I know exactly what to do and transforming your body requires four major components:

Nutrition & Chinese Medical Philosophy

We’ve all heard that eating well is crucial, but what I love about what I offer to patients in practice is the strong Chinese Medical philosophical spin on it. This is based on seasonal effects, organs, energetics, temperature and colour. I blend this into a simple-to-follow plan and tailor it specifically based on the individual. I don’t believe everyone should be vegan, paleo, or raw. No two people are the same, which is why cookie cutter diets just don’t work for everyone. And this New Year you’ll have a chance to get a personalized plan for a fraction of what I charge in practice.

Exercise

Yes I know this has likely been drilled into you. And believe me when I tell you I’ve tried about everything.  The one person that I found incredibly inspiring, motivating and down right sexy is Sammie Kennedy from Booty Camp Fitness.  With over 75 locations in the country and voted top boot camp in Toronto, Sammie knows what she’s doing. Emotional Weight

This is probably the component you haven’t heard much about and believe it or not it has just as much value as the first two points. Emotional Specialist, Stephan Gardner has radical but practical views on the subject and I’m eager to get him talking. Soon you’ll understand what thought patterns are holding you back and the values that you’ve built for yourself that might actually be perpetuating your current situation.  This is the one area I continue to build in my business and soon it will get you really thinking and will create the body transformation that you never thought possible.

Motivation

This is the part where people drop off the map. You know how it’s like, you jump into the New Year and squeeze your way through the gym crowds but by February you lose steam. I find that when I don’t rely on my cheerleaders, it’s a lot easier to fall off the bandwagon. That’s why I’ve created a motivational pull coming soon that I guarantee you has NEVER been done before. In the meantime, I’m jumping back on my bandwagon and will embrace the fact that while I’m not in my 20’s anymore, this puma has a lot more bite than she’s ever had before.
