How to make a healthy salad dressing that will rock your detox world.

There is something about store-bought salad dressings that make me shutter. It may be because I remember being an Ad Exec for one of the biggest packaged foods in the world remembering what went into it. The ingredients were basic, processed and it cost pennies to produce and is likely still the greatest return on investment in their product portfolio. So when you purchase a bottle of creamy or Italian so-call goodness, remember that there is nothing real and certainly nothing truly Italian in it. In fact, I’m a bit of a dressing nut bar because I think you can create a truly magical salad with not only the ingredients in the salad but with the right salad dressing. And trust me, it doesn’t have to be hard! So today I thought I’d unveil:

Yep, here goes another sneak peak into the Sexy Liver Detox launching on May 17. And I’ve got so many other salad dressings that I’ve created that are truly phenomenal. So for those of you who think that salads are boring, believe me they’re not (unless you’re consuming house salad iceberg lettuce with tomato and cucumber). They can be delicious and pack just the right therapeutic punch to them. All of my new dressing recipes are anti-inflammatory and will increase your immune function and give you boat loads of energy. It’s like quenching your salad with its very own detox smoothie. I mean seriously could it get any better? So without further ado here it is:

Detox Majik Salad Dressing

2 tbsp tahini or cashew butter
¼ cup full fat coconut milk
1 scoop Blue Majik powder or E3Live powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 dropper’s worth stevia
Pinch sea salt
Water to thin out as needed
Optional: 1 tsp vanilla protein powder of your choice

Mix together in a small mason jar and use liberally on salads. Store whatever you don’t need in your airtight mason jar.

Now I realize that this doesn’t sound very much like a salad dressing since its sweet, but adding this to my Rainbow Crunch Salad (that I’m unveiling in the program) that can be used interchangeably for lunch and breakfast is honestly just divine. And heck, if you really don’t dig this as a salad dressing, then simply use it as a dip for apples. The rich amount of fat and the cinnamon are perfect to balance out your cravings and steady your blood sugar so you’re not feeling hangry. And if you’re wondering why the Blue Majik / E3Live powder: because it jacks up your dressing with some detox love. Plus the rich amount of chlorophyll in either Blue Majik or E3Live powder really aid the liver that we need during a liver detox.
