Meet Melissa

It’s time to break the rules and do what they told you not to.

It’s time to emotionally eat…the right way, with what I call, Sexy Food Therapy. Here you can learn how to lose weight, get more energy, be happier and feel sexy from the inside out.

Too good to be true? Nah ah…

Simply combine my expertise as a Nutritionist specializing in Eastern philosophy in a fun, sexy and attainable way that’s unconventional but engaging, and you’ve got one magical combination. I don’t believe that getting healthy should be confusing, boring or stressful. After all, you’ve got a lot on your plate already, don’t you?

You see, I come from a fast-paced corporate world as a previous Ad Exec, so I get the hustle. I suffered for years with a gluten sensitivity that wreaked havoc on my digestive system. I had acne all over my face and almost died when I had to have an emergency surgery to remove a ruptured cyst that had me bleeding internally up to my lungs. But I came back, stronger than ever with a whole new outlook. Getting healthy should be fun, exciting and empowering. I want you to dance and laugh when you watch my Red Couch Confessions newsletter and reestablish a relationship with yourself through the food you eat.

Need more reason to reach out?

I’ve been a regular expert on CBC’s hit daytime show, Steven & Chris and have appeared on CP24′s Wylde on Health, CHUM and Virgin Radio and have worked with Yahoo! Canada. I’ve spoken in front of over 100 people from corporate venues like Xerox to the The Loyalty Group, and have been named Woman of the Week from Women’s Post Magazine, plus I’m an official health blogger for Huffington Post.

Through my health consultations, online programs, shopping, public speaking, video newsletter and blog, I’ve created an exciting high-heeled approach to health that you’ll fall in love with.

And listen, I’m not going to make you go raw, vegan, macrobiotic or purchase wool socks and force you to wear them with Birks (although I won’t judge you if that’s your thing). I also won’t ask you to give up everything you love, tell you never to cheat or to not eat past 8pm…because I do sometimes!

Here no one will force you into labelling yourself because this about balance that you can manage. Be promiscuous and flirt with different eating genres (gluten-free, vegetarian, meatarian, etc.) and BE who you want to be without the judgement…or guilt.

It’s time to stop punishing yourself…

…and it’s time you and I got better acquainted. Welcome to Sexy Food Therapy.
