The molehill that became a mountain

Jun

It was 2007, I was engaged living in the suburbs to what I now call the best ex-fiancé a woman can have. I clearly remember one evening when we were running late because my ass out grown the dress I was hoping to fit into. I threw a fit and soon enough I accused him of not thinking I was attractive enough and not loving enough.

The molehill begins to grow.

It was a warm summer and my sister made one of her wise ass pokes and suddenly I pounced and no longer was it about a snide remark but rather about my own fatalistic view of sibling rivalry from years passed.

The molehill begins to resemble a mini mountain.

After waiting over half hour for my food to arrive, there were diced cucumbers on it.

[Footnote: I absolutely hate cucumbers…yes, I know I’m a freak, but yes, I do find they have an uncanny revolting taste and yes, I do think they’re disgusting]

I looked down at my plate, then at my date across from me and then peered over to the server who was clearly in the weeds, I looked up, smiled and ate my dinner…with cucumbers.

The mountain begins to deflate.

There have been many times I have literally gone ape shit in the past but I’ve realized well enough that there’s an art to not sweating the small stuff. I came to this realization after key moments in my life (like that little near-death experience I had two years ago)and I try hard to instill this with my patients. Yes, you will screw up and fall off the bandwagon with your diet (and might get run over by the bandwagon), but no, you should not kick yourself in the ass for it. To master this art, rewiring needs to take place, which is a pivotal part of SEXYRICH411. You begin to appreciate life a little more and become happier. And when we’re happier, things begin to shift and the whole world begins to conspire WITH you rather than AGAINST you.

And if you’re ready to let the world to open up and vibe at the same frequency as those that you admire then you’re not going to want to miss SEXYRICH411. We’ll be talking about why we create mountains in our lives and how our emotions lead to physical ailments (chronic pain, weight gain, acne, etc.). Instead, it’s about time to see the bigger picture, gain perspective and welcome in the love you deserve rather than the mountains you create. Soon it’ll be time for you to take that leap. Because when we launch, we’ll only be accepting 50 people. So sign up, stay informed and don’t miss out.
