Welcome to The Over 30's Club

As I sat with a bunch of close girl friends nibbling on some tapas, we began to talk about one of our favourite topics…sex. I was shocked when I learned the common thread between them all – coming across men who weren’t virile. Could this be? Are men’s sexual ability simply going down and not uphill? As my friend said that evening…”Ladies, welcome to the Over 30′s Club”.

A man’s sexual peak is said to be around the time when he’s 18 years old. Thereafter, studies have shown that most men experience a 2% drop-off in testosterone production each year after they turn 30. If we look at the average male and their life leading up to their 30′s, we see an “immortal-me” mentality (and many of us ladies, are no different). The university years, the late hours at the office and the Saturday nights of chugging back vodka Red Bulls simply calls for burn out and decreased testosterone levels.
In Chinese Medicine, there is something known as “jing” or “essence” which is rooted in our kidneys. It’s responsible for our birth, growth, reproduction and development. Both men and women are only born with so much jing in their human bank account which is passed on to us from our parents. But with too many late nights, smoking, excessive drinking, protein and sweets, we begin to lose it. Then one day, before they know it, men wonder, “I don’t know what happened…all of a sudden I woke up and it didn’t work.” (Please repeat in a full on gino accent for maximum laughing impact) So when it comes to the loss of a man’s sexual virility, it didn’t just happen, they’ve been working towards it for at least a decade.
Now I’m sure men are crying out, “Maybe it’s the woman?!” And truth be told, maybe they’re right, maybe we’re simply losing our ability to turn men on. But I have to say, given the amount of stories I’ve been hearing, a pattern is beginning to form.
So what can be done to increase the heat in the sheets? Aside from ditching the smokes, laying off on the late night partying, here is some food for thought. Try to clean up the diet first before buying a truckload of supplements. For example stay away from Frankenfoods – those which come out of a box or have a claim. Consume more plant foods and eat less meat and dairy for starters.
So here is a morning cocktail that is both easy to prepare as it is yummy:
THE MORNING JING ELIXIR
1 oz E3 Live
1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed – the commercial stuff is loaded with sugar)
Small handful raspberries
4 drops of stevia (or to your preference)
1 tsp bee pollen
With a hand blender mix all ingredients together and enjoy first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Simple!
This type of elixir is by no means a substitute for breakfast, but it’s wonderful to help alkalize the system, and get you started and all without the coffee. E3 Live, also known as wild blue-green algae helps to cool the system down and provide energy overall. Not to mention, for those feeling a little depressed, this is an excellent natural anti-depressant! The grapefruit and raspberries are both cleansing and nutritive to the kidneys and liver, but if you are on high cholesterol medications, please avoid grapefruit juice entirely and sub in freshly squeezed lemon and water. Bee pollen is suitable for jing maintenance and also for mild cases of jing deficiency. The stevia on the other hand is simply for added sweetness. Now in no way am I suggesting that this morning elixir be the cure all, but it sure helps to get in some quick powerful nutrients into the body pronto!
So when it comes down to it, there is something incredibly sexy about a man who hasn’t lost the sense to take care of himself. I’m not referring to huge muscles, but rather to stay healthy by some degree. Besides, I like going for a good glass of wine, eating a wonderful piece of fillet Mignon (medium rare of course), but balance in life is key.
Simply put, our pickings of men over 30 should be strong, healthy and able to sustain women at our sexual peak! The tables have turned gentlemen, and with all the toys available to us on the market, now is certainly your time to keep up. Enjoy the elixir…
Cheers.

Eep! I am glad I am not dating if that is what women have to contend with. I am happy to say that my hubby, at 53, is still 20 where it counts.
He doesn’t smoke (the odd cigar) and drinks moderately. He eats well (’cause I feed him) although we do have a rich diet much of the time. And work has him running much of the day.
I always thought it was lack of use that made men wither.
The elixer looks like a good cure for the ones that insist on poisoning themselves.
Cheers!

what is this and where do you get it?
